This role serves as the insights representative on the Biosurgery platform team and a key partner to Global Strategic Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders. The Senior Manager will set and manage an integrated insights roadmap and proactively recommend tools, methodologies, and data sources to address strategic and tactical marketplace understanding needs. This role is accountable for translating research and analytics into clear, executive-ready implications and recommendations that drive decisions across pipeline strategy, portfolio prioritization, customer segmentation, value proposition, positioning, and launch readiness.</span></p><p></p><p><span><b>Responsibilities:</b></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>Own the Biosurgery platform insights strategy and integrated annual/rolling learning plan (primary research, secondary data, competitive intelligence, and forecasting) aligned to key business priorities and decision timelines.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Lead the end-to-end design and execution of primary market research initiatives, including business problem framing, methodology selection, instrument design, sampling strategy, vendor oversight, analysis, and synthesis</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Translate complex, multi-source data into clear insights, implications, and recommendations, delivering executive-ready storylines that inform key decisions and drive action.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Lead initiatives to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, customer behaviors, and competitive dynamics; synthesize findings into decision frameworks that inform pipeline, portfolio prioritization, positioning, and launch readiness</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Demonstrate an ability to influence multiple stakeholders, including senior management to ensure a data driven, insight approach to key business decisions and maximum impact thereof</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Support platform business partners in:</span></span></p><ul><li><p><span><span>New Product opportunities through development and execution of learning plans, including needs identification, opportunity assessment, and forecasting.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Lead the design and execution of comprehensive market research initiatives to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscapes, providing strategic insights that inform key business decisions.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Use modeling techniques to develop robust forecasting models, incorporating market dynamics, economic indicators, and internal data sources to enhance accuracy and reliability of sales and revenue projections for new product launches, market and share reporting, and long-range financial planning.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Proactively execute and deliver fact-based insights and analytics programs to address priority business needs and opportunities.</span></span></p></li></ul></li><li><p><span><span>Ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality execution of insight &amp; forecasting activities.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Champion a culture of continuous improvement by implementing and refining processes, fostering innovation, and encouraging cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that all team initiatives are optimized for efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals.</span></span></p></li></ul><p><span><b> </b></span></p><p><span><b>Qualifications: </b></span></p><ul><li><p><span>BS/BA in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, or related field is required; MBA or MS or other advanced degree is preferred</span></p></li><li><p><span><span>A minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in primary market research, secondary market research, forecasting, strategic insights, business analytics, or a related field is required</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience in the medical device, medical technology, hospital specialty, or healthcare field is required</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Knowledge and experience designing and executing primary marketing research, including questionnaire design, methodology selection, and learning plan development is required</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience in end-to-end vendor and project management, including drafting RFPs, evaluating proposals, negotiating scope, managing timelines and budgets, and overseeing data quality</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Experience in holistic strategy execution, seeing the big picture, integrating market, competitive, and primary research data into clear direction, driving cross functional alignment through influence is required</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Thorough working knowledge and experience with forecasting market performance and/or product/services revenue for up to a minimum of three years into the future is required; Excel proficiency is required</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Proven track record of working in a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is required</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Knowledge of and experience with secondary market research tools (eg DRG, Premier, Health Verity, Provider databases) and techniques is preferred</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and WORD are required</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>This positions is hybrid (3 days onsite weekly)</span></span></p></li><li><p><span><span>May require up to 20% travel (domestic and international)</span></span></p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><i>Johnson &amp;
